 General Prize Draw - Terms and Conditions

1. How a person can enter the prize draw:

All listeners can enter the CD of the Week Competition by either: 

• visiting www.artsound.fm and completing the online form or via emailing at onair@artsound.fm between when the competition opens and 5 PM Wednesday of the week of the competition
• calling the on air number 6295 8444 when they hear the presenter call for entries.

If a listener enters the CD of the week competition via email or online after 5PM Wednesday then entry will be added into the next CD of the Week competition.

"Spot" prizes and sponsor prizes will be advised 24 hours prior to opening of the draw. Draws may be open to all listeners but may be restricted at times to members only and/or individuals signing up for new membership.

"Dux of the Month" Prize is open to all callers who have phoned in during the month and answered the relevant trivia question. All successful entrants will be entered into a draw to be held on the first Friday of the next month.

Entry will be via phone call when a presenter calls for entries.

The conditions governing who can enter a specific draw will be clearly stated in the terms and conditions for that draw 24 hours prior to the draw.

ArtSound volunteers and staff are ineligible to enter.

All entrants for competitions where the prize is alcohol must be over the age of 18.

Each entrant is eligible for one entry per competition.

Entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Terms and conditions for each draw will be entered on the ArtSound FM website at www.artsound.fm

If an entrant does not truthfully provide all requested personal details, the Promoter may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize.

2. Start Dates:         

The start date for the first prize draw is CD of the week on Saturday 29 October 2011.

3. Closing Date:

Entry via the online form and email closes Wednesday 5PM of the week of the competition.

The last prize draw will end prior to or on 28 October 2012.

4. Prizes

A minimum of two CDs will be awarded each week of the CD of the week competition.

Prizes for spot and other prize draws will be entered on the website no later than 24 hours prior to the opening of the draw.

5. How and where will the draw be held

The winners will be determined by a draw which will be held at the ArtSound FM premises at Manuka Arts Centre, Cnr NSW Cres and Manuka Circle, Griffith ACT 2603.

6. Time of Draw:

The draw for CD of the week will be between 6.45 and 7.00PM Friday. The time of the draw for all other prizes will be entered on the website no later than 24 hours prior to the  opening of the draw.

Unless the entry is reliant on taking out a membership the cost to entrants who call is the cost of a standard phone call. There is no entry by SMS or post.

7. The manner in which winners will be notified:

Prize winners will be notified by phone within 5 days.

All winners will be notified in writing within 21 days except in the case of time based events where the tickets must be used in a specified time. In this case all efforts will be made to contact the person within 24 hours of the time of the event. If no contact has been made by 24 hours prior to the event a redraw will take place.

Prize winners will be advised of the pick up arrangements for vouchers and tickets if these are not to be collected from the office.

9. Redraw Arrangements

Where the prize is not time based a redraw will take place for any unclaimed prizes no sooner than 3 months after the draw date.

The redraw will be held at the ArtSound FM premises at Manuka Arts Centre, Cnr NSW Cres and Manuka Circle, Griffith ACT 2603.

10. Total prize pool for the 12 months of this licence is up to $10,000.

11. Privacy

ArtSound FM will collect entrants' personal details for the purposes of awarding the prize. Only first name and suburb will be read on air unless the entrant gives permission for their full name to be released.

ArtSound FM may contact entrants with promotional material from time to time and may pass on the entrant's details to a sponsor for the purposes of confirming a prize or to arrange collection of a prize or voucher.

12. Tax

Any taxes which may be payable as a consequence of a winner receiving the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Cosmorex Coffee has generously donated a Cosmorex Coffee Barista training course for one person to be taken in 2012. The course is an in-house training session with one of Cosmerex's award winning Baristas. The courses are held most Tuesday evenings starting in February 2012.

How Do You Enter

You need to be an ArtSound FM member to enter the competition. Presenters will call for members to ring in and put their name in the draw during selected programs.

You can also enter via email to onair@artsound.fm up until 5 PM Thursday the 8th.

You can become a member by using the online membership form or by calling the office on 6295 7444 when the office is open. If you join online you need to have signed up by 5 PM Thursday the 8th to be in the draw.

You can sign up as a member by using your credit card up until the competition closes on Friday 9 December on 6295 8444 (on-air) when the presenter calls for entries.
