ArtSound Recording Studios*
ArtSound Recording Studios and Audio Services are part of ArtSound Incorporated (ArtSound FM 92.7) - offering almost 30 years' experience in award-winning professional recording and audio preservation services.
The high quality sound integral to ArtSound FM's broadcasting and audio services is built on state-of-the art equipment, pristine acoustics and experienced audio engineers. Many recording studios can provide studios and equipment but few have ArtSound FM's understanding and passion for fine music - whatever the genre.
In addition to producing fine recordings, ArtSound Audio Services specialises in audio preservation and archiving to National Library of Australia standards - a service offered by only a handful of organisations in Australia. We can transfer and restore your old tapes, cassettes and records. We can train you or your staff in microphone presentation technique. Voice-over, animation and video soundtrack production are also offered.

Tips For Making Your Recording Session a Success
- Be well rehearsed and confident in your performance
- Have a written recording plan for the engineer e.g. song order, number of tracks, how you wish to use the time
- In your budget allow for mixdown and mastering as well as recording, artwork & CD production
- Be sure to bring all of your support materials including charts, spare strings, reeds, backing tracks on CD (if applicable) etc.
- Artists may find it helpful to record two or three takes of each track and choose the best from these. This will, of course, depend on your budget and how you wish to spend your studio time.
- We recommend no more than two people involved in your project sit in on the mixdown and mastering stages (rules apply).
- We request all artists and visitors turn off mobile phones before entering the recording suites.
