Introduction to Broadcasting Course 

ArtSound FM's next Introduction to Broadcasting course for New Presenters (and anyone looking to refresh their skills) is expected to begin in the second half of 2012.

For: ArtSound members with an interest in presenting radio programs on ArtSound.

Delivery: by a team of experienced ArtSound presenters.

Content:

1. Overview of ArtSound's facilities and philosophy;
2. Introduction to our studios and equipment;
3. Privileges and responsibilities;
4. Studio operations;
5. Presentation styles and vocal techniques;
6. Planning and producing a program; and
7. Assessment and beyond.

When: Monday evenings, from 6:30pm to 9:00pm, over a four-week period, with Assessment a week later.

Where: ArtSound studios, Manuka Arts Centre.

Cost: $225 (includes GST and three months complimentary ArtSound FM membership).
