Friday Night Live: Wanderlust at Bungendore Woodworks Cafe

Friday Night Live: Wanderlust at Bungendore Woodworks Cafe

Wanderlust brings together the talents of six of Australia’s best jazz instrumentalists. Together they have developed a unique sound through highly original compositions, superb ensemble work and imaginative improvisation and interplay. Skillfully blending global beats with jazz improvisation, the emphasis is on composition, texture and mood, rather than a display of individual virtuosity.  This is an encore presentation of this concert to celebrate their return to Canberra tonight at the Jazzhaus.

Miroslav Bukowsky Trumpet, Flugelhorn – Jeremy Sawkins Guitar – Alister Spence Keyboards – Fabian Hevia Percussion – James Greening Trombone – Steve Elphick Bass

Produced and presented by Chris Deacon OAM.

The award-winning FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE presents the best of contemporary jazz and related music concerts from live venues in Canberra, including our own recording studios. Hosted by long-time jazz enthusiast and presenter Chris Deacon OAM.
