Swingtime Goes Showtime

There’s no business like (swinging) show business! This week on Swingtime Ian McLean looks at songs from the world of musical theatre that swing — classics like “Hello Dolly”, “Big Spender”, “Cabaret”, and “I Got Rhythm” along with “A Bushel and a Peck”, “Mack the Knife”, and even a swing version of “Tomorrow” from Annie. Artists featured include Fred Astaire, Sarah Vaughn, Cleo Lane, and Laura Fygi as well as Henry Mancini and Robert Mandell with their respective orchestras and chorus.
Tune in to Swingtime on Wednesday 3 April from 4-5pm for an hour of swinging show tunes.
