The Lachlan Coventry Trio + Llewellyn Osborne. (April 2018) The trio comprises Lachlan Coventry on guitar, James Luke on bass and Chris Thwaite on drums. It will also include special guest, Llewellyn Osborne, on violin. It’s subtle, complex music with a wide range of influences, from J.S. Bach to Wes Montgomery. The concert will feature a set of Lachlan’s originals, some standards and compositions by the American guitarist, Emily Remler (1957-1990). Lachlan, a highly accomplished guitarist, has played with other groups in the series over the years but this is his first time as leader. Not a concert to be missed.
