As part of our exciting Radiothon 2025 fundraising event, ArtSound FM is hosting a lively Garage Sale on Sunday, October 26, from 10.30 AM until 3:30 PM. This is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, find some treasures, and support independent community radio!
What’s Happening at the Garage Sale
The Garage Sale will feature a wide variety of donated items – from books to DVDs and CDs. Whether you’re hunting for a unique item or just popping by to browse, there will be something for everyone.
Not only will you be picking up some great bargains, but every purchase supports ArtSound’s Radiothon fundraising goals. Your contributions help us keep broadcasting the music, art, and stories that make Canberra vibrant and connected.

For all those who have donated over $45 during the radiothon, they have the chance to win one of our major prizes. Stay tuned to find out what they will be!
How to Participate and Support
- Mark your calendar for Sunday, October 26, and bring your friends and family!
- Come early for the best finds.
- Donate items you no longer need by dropping them at the station before the event.
- The Studios will also be open, for you to take a look behind the scenes!
ArtSound’s annual expenses run to over $110,000 each year (after much paring and shaving, in recent years), and we also have additional costly projects from time to time, such as our current technology-upgrade project. We count on the Radiothon to help meet those costs.
