Baroque Music Meets Shakespeare Sonnets!
Apeiron Baroque’s next chamber (and children’s) concert will take place on Sunday November 2.
As always, the main concert is at 4:30 pm with a shorter concert for young families at 3pm.
Little Sounds, Great Noises will feature Shakespeare Sonnets (presented by Duncan Driver) alongside our Baroque Music. Young Canberran soprano Rylee de Salis will join the ensemble.
Sonnets have historically been associated with love and desire, but what inspires a person to write over 150 sonnets? Surely not 150 different loves?
Join Apeiron and our special guest, Duncan Driver, as we pair Shakespeare Sonnets with our Baroque Music!
Music by Westhoff, Graupner, Purcell (two of them!), Tartini, Lonati, Geminiani and more!

Young Children’s Concert (The Ellery String Quartet)
2025 CHILDREN’S CONCERTS
Pre-concert concert catering for young children and families.
30 minutes of music, and instrumental show and tell in a relaxed and informal setting. Perfect for young ones who are curious about music but might not have the attention to sit through the full main concert!
NOTE: Due to the tight timing of our whole concert day, we begin promptly AT 3pm.
