ArtSound Inc is calling for nominations for election to the 2026–27 Board of Management. Members are invited to submit nominations for up to eight positions on the Board. The outcome of the election will be announced at the AGM on Tuesday 26 May 2026.
Nominations close at 5:00pm on Thursday 30 April 2026. Completed nomination forms must be submitted either by:
- Email to the Returning Officer at returning-officer@artsound.fm, or
- Post in a sealed envelope marked “Board Elections” to: Returning Officer, ArtSound Inc, PO Box 3573, Manuka ACT 2603
If more than eight nominations are received, a ballot will be conducted over a 14-day period. In that case, nominees are asked to include a photo and a bio of up to 150 words covering: their history with ArtSound; their vision for the station; what they would contribute to the Board; and their awareness of Board member expectations.
If eight or fewer nominations are received, five nominees will be deemed elected to serve until the 2028–29 AGM, with any remainder serving until the 2027–28 AGM.
All Board members are expected to:
- Attend a monthly Board meeting of approximately 1.5 hours
- Assist with coordination roles such as fundraising, programming, library, maintenance, finances, administration, or studio upkeep
- Support ArtSound’s fundraising events throughout the year
