ArtSound is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded a significant grant from the Community Broadcasting Foundation (CBF) to support some of its essential FM transmission and operating costs over the next three years. This generous funding will ensure that ArtSound continues to provide high-quality broadcasting services to the community.
Included in this grant is capital funding specifically allocated for the replacement of ArtSound’s ageing transmitter at Telstra tower. The new transmitter will bring significant improvements in both quality and coverage, enhancing our ability to reach a wider audience with clearer, more reliable FM broadcasts.
This grant is one of the largest awarded in this round, highlighting the importance of ArtSound’s contribution to the community and the value of our programming. The support from the CBF will allow us to continue delivering diverse and engaging content, including music, arts, and cultural programs, to our dedicated listeners.
We are incredibly grateful to the Community Broadcasting Foundation for their timely support! This grant will enable us to enhance our transmission capabilities and ensure the ongoing operation of our station. It’s a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team of volunteers, and the loyal support of our listeners. ArtSound has been a cornerstone of the local arts and cultural scene, providing a platform for artists, musicians, and community voices. The improved transmitter will not only benefit our current audience but also attract new listeners who can now enjoy the enriched quality of our broadcasts.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Community Broadcasting Foundation for their continued support of community radio and look forward to many more years of serving our community with exceptional broadcasting.
